Artist Bio
Tina Tyson is an artist in Virginia specializing primarily in acrylic paints used with a technique designed for watercolor effect and acrylic on canvas. During undergraduate studies, Tina studied under renowned acrylic artist, Barclay Sheaks, at Virginia Wesleyan College (now transitioning to Batten University). She then attended University of Virginia School of Law and had a long and fulfilling legal practice that spanned top-tier academic medical centers, universities, and Big Law.
During her long legal career, art was Tina’s hobby, and she created cherished paintings for friends and relatives. In 2026, she established Paintings From the Point to devote her time to creating art and sharing it with a broader audience.
